In line with Psalm 50:5, GOD asks that his saints be gathered together unto HIM, GATHERING OF THE SAINTS as a ministry was inspired on Nov. 2003 and commissioned in Lagos, Nigeria on the 1st of July 2007. The ministry presently has its Headquarters in CHICAGO, Illinois, USA
Our Beliefs
We are passionate about the local church and are on a mission to see God’s kingdom established across the earth.
- We believe that God is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4).
- We believe that there is no impossibility in God (Luke 1:37).
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died and rose from the dead the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4;).
- We believe that there are three in one God; the father, the son and the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7; 11 Corinthians 13:14).
- We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God (II Timothy 3:16).
- We believe that all men have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Salvation or the new birth comes through repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; 11 Corinthians 5:17; John 3:3-8; Acts 20:20-21).
- We believe in the final Judgment. (Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:11-15; 2 Corinthians 5:10).
- We believe in the Lord’s Supper which is the regular partaking of Bread, the fruit of the vine, symbolic of the Body and the Blood of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
- We believe in Holiness and that those who are saved must live Holy (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter l: 16; Romans 12:1-2).
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of tongues. (Acts 2:4; Acts 19:6).
- We believe in Divine Healing through obedience to the commandment of our lord Jesus Christ and faith in his name to all sickness, diseases and infirmities (Matthew 8:17-17; James 5:14-15).
- We believe in the second coming of our lord Jesus Christ to take away his Church (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:1-3).
- We believe that the Church is the body of Jesus Christ made up of all blood washed believers universally. That it is the will of God for all believers to affiliate themselves into the local Churches for the purpose of fellowship, evangelism and discipleship (Ephesians 1:21-23; Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:15-16).
